The talk started with an abridged history of the Internet, how it works and then to the evolution of Web 2.0 and Social networks. The Speaker advised the attendants on the fact than most of the things we post on the web expose us and that we have to be careful when doing so and to treat with respect the other netizens.
The talk was concluded by some insights on the internet (online) security measures and how should one appropriately behave when one is online. We are thankful to Mr Javier and his entourage of youths from Madrid, Spain as our faculty and students greatly benefited from the talk which covered the very updated information and which is relevant to the current needs.
