Our school, as it is its name, is under the patronage of St Ann.
Tradition refers to St. Ann as being the mother of Virgin Mary. Although not written of in the Bible, Ann is given credence in the non-biblical gospel of James.
Saint Ann was born in Bethlehem and married Joachim from Nazareth in Galilee.
The feast of St. Ann is July 26th, she is the patron saint of mothers and women in labour and minors, and is usually symbolized by Mary in her lap holding the infant Jesus.
This years' celebration will be held on Friday, 25th in the school's new auditorium where it will be preceded by celebration of Holy Mass and thereafter lively performances by students in different cultural items.
Headmistresses' message for this year celebration will about God's unfathomable love as seen in 1 John 4:18
